Super35 is a Sydney-based wedding photography studio offering a documentary-first approach for couples who want their day captured as it actually unfolds.
We photograph a limited number of weddings each year,35 in total, allowing us to stay present, work deliberately, and deliver complete galleries without backlog or delay.
Our approach is observational and unobtrusive.
Rather than directing every moment or working through rigid shot lists, we focus on what naturally happens, the in-between moments, the quiet exchanges, and the rhythm of the day as it moves from one space to the next.
This style of wedding photography suits couples who value authenticity over performance and prefer their images to feel lived-in rather than staged.
We take on no more than two to three weddings per month.
This structure exists for a reason. Shooting at high volume leads to rushed timelines, delayed delivery, and less care in post-production. By limiting our calendar, we’re able to remain focused and consistent across every wedding we photograph.
It also allows us to deliver full wedding galleries within seven days, without compromising the work.
Every wedding is photographed by two photographers.
This allows us to document different perspectives simultaneously, moments happening across the room, parallel reactions, and context that would otherwise be missed. The result is a more complete visual record of the day, without increasing intrusion or direction.

Pre-wedding sessions are available and priced separately.
These sessions follow the same documentary approach and are often held at meaningful locations, at home, outdoors, or somewhere familiar. They’re ideal for couples who want relaxed imagery without heavy posing, and can also help ease into the experience ahead of the wedding day.
Super35 is not designed for couples seeking heavy direction, extensive posing, or high-volume coverage.
It’s built for those who value presence, restraint, and a considered way of working, and who prefer their wedding photographs to reflect how the day felt, not how it was staged.
